What about travel?
I live in downtown Los Angeles but yes, I love to travel! Im always venturing to a new city for weddings, destination engagement sessions and elopements.
What should I wear to my engagement shoot?
Think simple. Think classic. Think something you feel like a million bucks in. Then email so we can set up a call time to chat about the perfect fit for you while taking into account the location we are shooting in.
When will I see my photos?
Soon and very soon! You will see your full collection 4-6 weeks after your big day / session.
How many images do I get to see?
On average I deliver about 300-500 images per wedding.
Can I post my wedding photos on Facebook and Instagram?
I would love that! Once you receive the images we will have a shared copyright. That basically means you are allowed to share on personal sites like blogs, Facebook, etc if credit is given to sarahshrevesweddings.com. The only thing you cannot do us use them commercially without my permission.
WHERE SHOULD I ORDER PRINTS?
What you don’t get printed through your photographer you should order through a high quality print shop that specializes in fine art imagery. Printing from generic print shops (Costco, etc) you risk colour changes and detail loss, which can easily change the quality and overall experience of your photos. I recommend finishing the investment and getting high quality prints through my printer in NYC - the best quality and printed with totally non-toxic inks in a wind powered facility.
Do you have an assistant or second shooter?
Yes I do. Every second photographer that works with me as a very similar style and meets up to my (rather high) standards.
Can we upgrade our collection if we decide that we need more coverage?
Always! If you are unsure which package will be best for you, you can always book to lock down your date and then upgrade anytime before your wedding.
We are ready to book you! How do we do it?
Great! In order to lock in your date I'll have you send me your deposit and signed contract
Whats your style of photography?
Because of my background in the non-profit world, my photojournalism comes out when I am able to be a fly on the wall and document the moment, while my love for fashion has lead to photographs that are a bit more stylized and editorial in nature. I love candid moments. I will not make you put your shoes on twice or fake any part of your day. Typically the only time I pose people is during the portraits of the family and bridal party, which even then are a mix of posed and candid images.
My venue is asking for your insurance information. Do you have that?
I sure do. If you need proof of my liability policy for any of your vendors, just let me know and I can have it sent to them.
Do you really love shooting weddings?
Yes! I get to create at the same moment a sacred vow is spoken into existence. That is a gift and I do not take the honor lightly.
